Create an application profile

An application profile contains information specific to your application and is used to handle application onboarding onto networks. Your organization can have multiple applications and therefore multiple application profiles. In general, the application profile describes how your application will use Network as Code capabilities and how it deals with end-user consent and data protection.

  1. Once you have a billing account and a business profile created, the banner on your Dashboard will prompt you to create an application profile. Click the "Create application profile" button to get started.

  2. Fill in the application details. For the use case description, describe specifically how your application will use the Network as Code capabilities. If your application needs end user consent, you will also need to specify how your application requests consent from your users.

  3. You will need to specify in which countries data related to Network as Code use cases will be stored. In general this would be the countries where your application services are hosted.

  4. Next, you will do the same for where data related to Network as Code use cases will be processed. This may be the same as storage locations, but you need to specify both separately.

  5. You will also need to specify the countries in which your application will be operating in and which Network as Code capabilities you would like to use. For each capability, you will be asked to provide the purpose and the legal basis for the use of said capability. Select valid options from the drop-downs.

  6. Next you can review your application profile and after making sure the information is correct, you may submit the application profile for review and onboarding. This will start the application onboarding onto networks in your specified operating countries, which will take some time. You can review the status of the application onboarding on the "Applications" page on your Dashboard.

  7. Once your application has been onboarded onto at least one network, you can begin making API calls towards that network.
